Obituary of Pamela Anne Renaud

AUGUSTA - Pamela Anne Renaud, age 59, went to be with our Lord on May 5, 2015 after a long illness. She was born March 7, 1956 the daughter of John M and Greta J McCue of Wellington. She spent most of her adult life working for the Department of Human Services in various positions. In 2000 she married Larry Renaud and moved to Michigan. While there she worked at the University of Michigan Children's Hospital as an administrative assistant. Larry brought much love and joy into Pam's life and gave her children even though she couldn't have any of her own. In her years in Michigan, the Renaud house was home to many OHL hockey players and foreign exchange students. They were and are loved very much. Pam enjoyed reading and the ocean and always enjoyed a good meal with family and friends. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and Grammie Pammie to many kids who will all miss her greatly. Once back in Maine you could always find her at her "Grandson" Adrian's sporting events where she would cheer loudly. She had a profound love for her Dexter Tiger boys. She was predeceased by her parents John and Greta McCue and her husband Larry J Renaud. She is survived by her brother Timothy and his wife Janice of Presque Isle, her sister Faith and her husband Darrell of Harmony and nephews, Daniel McCue of Presque Isle and Adrian Bussell (who she thought of as a grandson) of Harmony and her "other grandson" Sabian Brooks of Harmony. At Pam's request there will be no funeral but rather we will hold a celebration of life dinner on Sunday May 17, 2015 At 2 p.m. at Harmony Elementary Gym. Pam wanted her friends and family to get together for a time of food and reminiscing. In lieu of flowers she asked that donations be made to Adrian's college fund. Donations may be sent to Adrian Bussell, 21 Main St Harmony Maine 04942. The family wishes to extend their greatest appreciation to Maine General in Augusta for the care and compassion they provided in Pam's final days and to our friends, family and communities who supported us greatly through this time.
