Obituary of Betty Harriman

NORTHPORT – Betty L. Harriman, 83, of Northport, passed away on June 1, 2015 at Harbor Hill in Belfast. She was born in 1932 in Prospect, Maine, the third of five children born to Stanley and Beulah (Leach) Servisky. Betty was married July 21, 1951 to Donald C. Harriman. She is predeceased by her parents; two sisters, Catherine and Margaret and brother Stanley; her husband and two sons, Joel and Paul Harriman. Betty is survived by her sister, Jean M. Raleigh of Rollinsford, NH; three sons, Clifton Harriman, Allan Harriman, both of Northport and Blaine Harriman of Belfast; one daughter, Judy L. Simpson and husband Peter of Northport; a special daughter-in-law Robin J. Harriman; grandsons, Rex, Joshua, James, Zechariah and Jesse; a granddaughter Kathryn; and great-granddaughters Megan and Calliope. Visiting hours will be held from 6-8 p.m. on June 4th at Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on June 5th at Northport Community Church, Saturday Cove Road, Northport. Interment will be at Maple Grove in Prospect.
