Obituary of Peter Joseph Bickford

LEWISTON - Peter Joseph Bickford, 52, of Lewiston, passed away unexpectedly. He was born in Waterville, on August 1, 1962. Pete attended high school in Somers, Conn. and Oakland, and received his GED while serving in the USMC during the early 80s. He was predeceased by his mother Marion Berube Bickford; and his brother Timothy Raymond Bickford. Pete leaves behind his son Joseph Greene and wife Leslie of Fairfield, daughter Courtney Greene of Fairfield; his father Raymond Carl Bickford and wife Ruth of Oakland; brother Gregory Bickford and wife Diane of Unionville, Conn., sister Kim Bickford of Waterville; and his wonderful grandchildren Mackenzy, Joseph, Evan and Maxwell of Fairfield; nephews Jeremy Bickford, Michael Ashman and Brian Bickford; as well as numerous relatives throughout the U.S. Pete was famous for his generous soul. He was particularly blessed to have many good friends during his life, particularly Sheila and Marc Lauzon of Old Orchard Beach, and the staff and clients of The Milestone Foundation. A graveside service will be held at St Francis Cemetery, Grove St, Waterville, on Friday, June 26, 2015, at 1 p.m.
