Obituary of Maxine May Creamer

Waldoboro — Maxine Creamer Gahm, age 88, passed away at home July 14 ,2015. Maxine was born in Rockland Jan. 14, 1927, to Edna and John Skinner. After graduating from RHS in 1945, she married Carroll Creamer. After his death, she married Phillip Gahm. After her retirement from Anchor Glass, she returned home to Maine. She loved Scrabble, the ocean, thrift stores, crocheting, reading, baking and her dog, Diego. Her most precious job in life was raising her four girls, who survive her: Carol Day (Robert), Sandra Theriaque, Mary Dauphinais (Sherman Benoit) and Melody Seymour. Also surviving are her three stepchildren; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; eight siblings; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her husbands, Carroll and Phillip, a grandson, Alexander, and four sisters. A celebration of life will be held at the Bremen Town Landing Saturday, July 25, at 2 p.m. Those attending are asked to wear Maxine's colors, black and white.
