Obituary of Pamela J Shorey

LIBERTY – Pamela J. (Libby) Shorey, 50, of Liberty, passed away unexpectedly on September 8, 2015 at her home. She was born on November 2, 1964 in Skowhegan, Maine, the daughter of Clyde and Janice (Young) Libby. Pam attended high school in Skowhegan and Madison. She worked as a stitcher for her whole career, working on shoes, tailgate nets and many other items. She most recently worked at Little River Apparel. Her hobbies included arts and crafts, but her greatest love was for her spouse, children and grandchildren. She is predeceased by her mother. Pam is survived by her father, Clyde Libby, Jr. of Madison, her loving husband, Mark Shorey of Liberty, her children: Jessica Libby of Skowhegan, Joshua Libby and wife Amanda of Fairfield, and Katrina Shorey of Augusta; four siblings: John, Rhonda, Tracy, and Rick; her grandchildren: Marissa, Clyde, Shawn, and Nuala; many nieces, nephews and cousins, and her dog, Scout. A Celebration of her Life will be held on Friday, September 18, 2015 from 2:00-4:00 pm at Riposta Funeral Home, 182 Waldo Avenue, Belfast.
