Obituary of Madeline Fuller Patten

Madeline Fuller Patten of Belmont, went to be with her Lord, Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at the age of 86. Madeline was born to Agnes and Albert Fuller on April 14, 1929 in Searsmont, Maine. She married Wylie Patten, July 26, 1946, and together they raised 4 children in their 59 years of marriage. She worked hard to provide for her family at various places such as Maple Wood Poultry Plant, Belfast Pants Factory, Waldo Shoe Factory, Truitt Brothers Shoe Factory, Childcare in her home to many families in the Belfast Area, and wreath making. Madeline loved quilting and made and sold many beautiful quilts. She enjoyed gardening and canning all kinds of fruits and vegetables. She adored babies and children of all ages and her infectious laugh and loving nature made them adore her. She was blessed with a large family and spent many hours of her life with them. Madeline is survived by her three daughters, Kathleen and husband Ken Ryan of Belmont, Diana and husband Robert Ryan of Northport, and Amber and husband David Larochelle of Searsport; eight grandchildren, Lori-Ann and husband Bill Kirby, Chris Ryan and wife Jessica, Matthew Larochelle and wife Amy, Ken Ryan and girlfriend Misty Moulton, Bob Ryan and wife Megan, Justin Larochelle and wife Jen, Chad Gray and wife Christine, and Angela and husband Andy Dumas; 17 great grandchildren, Morgan, Crystle, and Neil Kirby, Amber and Haley Larochelle, Kendra, Landon and Kaitlyn Ryan, Caleb Ryan, Nicholas Larochelle, Alex, Julianna, Valerie and Brianna Gray, and Clark, Gwen and Adaline Dumas; and great great grandchildren Jack, Carter, and Sophia. Madeline was predeceased by her husband Wylie and son Damon. Funeral services will be held at Faith Bible Baptist Church, Route 173, Searsmont, Maine, on Sunday, November 15, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. A private family graveside service will follow funeral service and refreshments.
