Obituary of Anne Barbara Long Doub

Mrs. Anne (Barbara Long) Doub, born on April 29, 1946 in Brooklyn, New York to Barbara Long and the late William Henry Long, passed away at age 72 on July 25, 2018 in Owl's Head, Maine. She graduated from Brooklyn College with her Bachelor's Degree, received her Master's Degree in Art and Education from Tufts University in Massachusetts, followed by her Doctorate in Art and Education from the University of Hawaii. She was in the education industry as a teacher for many years and retired. Anne was married to William Doub who courageously took wonderful care of her over the past 3 years as her condition worsened. She is survived by her brothers, Thomas Long and John William Long; and sister, Eileene Mayhew. Anne had a passion for art, reading, sculpture, and gardening. The family invites donations in Anne's name to OCRFA (ovarian cancer research fund alliance) and MD Anderson Cancer Center. Services will be Private.
