Eleanor Ruth (Lynch) Anderson passed away quietly at home on January 9th, 2018. She was the youngest daughter of Mildred (Hatch) and Joseph Lynch. She was born in Newark, NJ but after her parents divorced her mother brought her children back to East Orland, Maine, where they lived next to her mother’s brother, “Uncle Roy”. Eleanor and her siblings attended grade school in East Orland and then onto Bucksport High School. After graduation “Ellie” worked in Bangor and Ellsworth until she met her husband, George Anderson. After her children were all in school she worked part time as an operator for AT&T followed by several years at The Union Trust Bank of Ellsworth.
