Obituary of Leroy Merlon Gibbs

Leroy Merlon Gibbs, 64 of Belfast, passed away on July 5, 2016 at Tall Pines. He was born November 19, 1951 in Belfast the son of Merlon E. Gibbs and Gloria (Lavway) Cross. Leroy graduated Class of 1971 from Mt. View High School. He worked for the Department of Transportation for the State of Maine as well as at Sullivan’s for many years. He is predeceased by his parents, brother Meldon Gibbs, step-father Ed Cross and niece Kristy Gibbs. Leroy is survived by a companion, Audrey Sweetland of Fairfield; children Kimberly Clark and husband Eric of Holden, Aaron Gibbs and wife Chastity of Unity, and Corinne Gibbs of Waterville; siblings Ricky Gibbs of Bangor, Deborah Burns and husband Dan of PA, Marilyn Carman and husband Norman Gilmore of Brooks; his grandchildren Kelli and Chelsey Gibbs.
