Obituary of Virginia Ginny Coller

Virginia “Ginny” Coller, 88, died December 10, 2010 in Belfast. She was born July 9, 1922 in Keene NH the daughter of George and Mable (Caldwell) Ware. Ginny would say she was a homemaker; however, she and her husband, Bob, did a wide variety of things together. One of the most notable was the Robert Coller Chorale. Ginny was an operator and did set design for an opera company and also taught classes on enameling copper. She operated the switchboard at Waldo County General Hospital for a time. Ginny did many things with Bob, they were usually in the same direction. She was predeceased by an infant son, Brian, and is survived by her husband of 64 years, Robert B. Coller of Belfast; two daughters, Diane Wilson of Belfast and Marsha Coller of Belfast; a grandson Brian Wilson of NYC, NY. A celebration of Ginny’s life will be held on Saturday, 12/18/10 at the First Baptist Church, High Street in Belfast with Pastor Foster Williams officiating. Interment will be in the Grove Cemetery, Belfast. Arrangements are under the care of Crabiel-Riposta Funeral Home 182 Waldo Ave. Belfast.
